omg I love this game by far, but it happend to be extremely laggy, so I can't make it to the end of a chase scene. The saving function doesn't seem to work as well. Anyone who also had these problems, playing on a mac, how have you overcome them??
hii I'm on windows but had the same problem, took me about multiple times until I managed -
I managed with memorizing where I'm gonna have to click what and pressing either left or right when I went in a straight line so I can still avoid things I hope this'll work for u (if u haven't already finished it) :) <3

ITS ABSOULETLY BEAUTIFUL
everyone whos unsure if they want to play this game or not, trust me its worth every second. The game showed the importance of the communication, and how you shouldn't let your bad thoughts get to you. I really loved it, the conversations between the two had so much emotions, it felt really real, and made me tear up a lot.
although i'll imagine that they ended up moving together/close and living with cats/dogs, and have a happy relationship/friendship (depends on who ships them) together for the sake of my emotional heart and i cant stand knowing they don't end up being friends/lovers till death <3
So first i waited a but for the monster to Spawn and started to run towards the right side, Like the most right I could go, and then when I reached the end, I moved to centre cause you can't leave the chase unless in the center, it sorta worked for me, sorry for late reply and sorry if it won't work for you! :( <3
the characters are such dorks i love them so much T_T but i had such a fun time!! the game made me unsettled and nervous a lot but it was also really emotional and heartwarming. i really like it!!
I HATE HOW THIS GAME MADE ME CRY SO MUCH, LIKE WHY IS THIS SUCH A GOOD GAME THAT IT MADE ME CRY? ALSO I HATE BUT LOVE THE 2ND ENDING WHERE WINNIE DIED, I'M HAPPY THAT AUGISTINE IS FINALLY HAPPY BUT WHY DID WINNIE DIE? THE FIRST ENDING WAS SO MUCH BETTER.

For me, my experience with this game was more in the personal zone. I like that in such a short time (with a play time of just 45 mins. - 1 hr.), our main characters' relationship was fleshed out just right, just enough.
Although conflict is what drives the game forward, it does not solely focus on that. It is impressive to me that Augustine and Winnie's characters too have been fleshed out in such a short amount of time that does not lack but delivers everything just right. It makes you, the player, see not only Augustine's perspective but also Winnie's and makes us see that one is as valid as the other. I also liked that Augustine was an unreliable narrator.
Now, there is no blueprint or objective to be followed in portraying real-life relationships, but I think this game nailed the feelings it was trying to get across that we tend to feel when we are in relationships similar to that of Augustine and Winnie. Plus, although I liked the good ending because "Yay, they got along again!!" and the bad ending made me feel quite... despondent, I like that the latter was also made anyway.
The game itself has been well-executed. I had a good — and emotional, may I emphasize — time in playing this.
hello. Rachel. this is going to be my most honest review of your game.
this game has enlightened me. it has changed my thoughts about everything and myself. the good ending has brought me to tears because of how good it was. this whole game changed the directory of my life in just a single hour. the designs, the artwork, the story compliment eachother so well that i cannot believe that this was done in 25 days. please never stop making these extraordinary games for all of us.

is it js me who doesnt see the game file? i mean i downloaded dead plate just fine + other games, but i dont see the "game" file for this one. :/
no yeah, mine doesn't work either. i just submitted a report and i hope they fix it soon.
you need to right click on the file and extract it, once it's done press Game.exe, the extracting should take around an hour!

I have had this same problem on windows. I haven't passed the part yet, and its either the elk is too fast or just catches right up to you.
