I love this so goddamn much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed the MUSIC, the ART, even the gameplay a little when I got how everything works. The chase scene was stunning ;)))))) kinda made me be grateful for having a sense of taste😭

First and foremost I kinda struggled abit at first since I was not yet familiar with the game but when I did all is good.
I love how we have to do certain puzzles, like talking to Vince during different shifts, and I also absolutely love the art style! The music!! The thrill! Especially when Vince was chasing us I'm a person that easily gets excited when while that was happening I was like, "BRO NOT LET ME LIVE"- "RUN FASTER." -"THIS GOOFY ASS MAN!"
Also the LOREEEEEE, THE LORE IS LITERALLY WHAT KEPT ME ON MY TOES!!! I got so hooked to this game that I was literally lore dumping on a friend of mine, LIKE WHO WOULD'VE EXPECTED THAT? this game is really fun (for me) I hope to see more games from you guys (I've already played Elevator Hitch, currently downloading the other two) keep up the good work!!!:D
This seems like a really great game, but unfortuantely it's almost unplayable.. I barely got through day one. I have to mash the button many times before the option to interact with something will actually come up, and you have to be very finnecky about what tile the character is on or else it just won't work. This makes it almost impossible to play without getting all of the guests to leave early. Additionally, when I got to the Day 2 equip screen, no matter what button I pressed, I couldn't get the game to progress.
i had the same problem with the buttons and it gets better on the following days, just the first day that i think is a little bugged. as for the equip screen, you have to click on the door with your mouse, close to that letter thingy and then it'll work :D

The art style and story line of this game was absolutely amazing. I loved all of the interactions between Rody and Vince. I wish we could've seen more of them together. While I really enjoyed plot, the game play of this was tedious. I don't think you could get all the endings without the guide with it being such a fast paced game. The controls were difficult to use but overall, a solid game. Ending 3 was my favorite.

I had the same thought. Maybe the developers could add an interactable object available during repeat playthroughs that lets you skip the workshift "scene", or that sets money to quota and customers' patience to 0.
Cause the shifts can get quite lengthy after Day 4.
I have no idea how hard that might be to program though.
(edit: I realized I may have missed the point of your comment. The reason I suggested having an object to interact with to skip the shift is so that players could do any conversations/actions they need to do before skipping the shift.)
Although, actually, now that I think about it, this is an RPGMaker game where having a Skip function is not standard, unlike VNs.
I WISH, though, that it was normal for RPGMaker games to have a Skip function or at least a "Hold this button to Skip Text" function.
It seems to be the accepted standard for RPGMaker games that you can make the player go through a game multiple times doing different actions to get multiple endings, regardless of how long the game is. I only find it really bad when:
a. it would take more than 1 hour or so to replay for the other endings
and b. the different endings are normal end that resolves nothing vs true ending that gives you the conclusion, so they're not just "optional" to get
I feel like if a game developer expects you to replay a game multiple times, then they should make it easier. Cause players definitely WANT to experience a game themselves but if replaying a game for the true ending would take like over an hour of pointless repeating, then it becomes more and more "attractive" of an option to just watch someone else get it on YouTube. Which I think is bad for all parties (players don't get the personalized experience of playing the game themselves, developers' game is enjoyed less) except for the YouTubers.
(I mean ok, in most games it isn't that bad, but in some games I feel like developers never thought about the player experience in terms of this aspect.)
To get back on the topic of Dead Plate, it technically shouldn't take that long to go through this game a 2nd time, and technically a skip function would not be that necessary for an average player. I think I just think for ME it would have made a huge difference to be able to skip the shift, because I needed to take at least 3 hours to get the other endings due to bugs in the shift and technical issues.
Hello, so I've followed the instructions for Mac. I dragged the 'game' file into the applications folder and I've cmd clicked the file and it isn't booting. but the file appears on my dock. what do I do?

okay, not only is this an amazing, well written game, but it can also run on a computer that can barely even run google. i recently downloaded this on a computer from around 2006, the only upgrade it has had since then was another gigabyte of ram (not even a thermal paste change), the specs on the computer are 2 gigabytes of ddr ram (the first gosh darn ram ever), an nvidia geforce 6200, and an amd athlon 64 3800+, all running on windows 7, and not only did the game actually be able to run on a pc this terrible, it ran WELL, like i could actually play the game and not have the whole computer explode, thank you for creating this game, potato pc gamers finally have something fun to play (i mean this in the absolute best way possible, this game is amazing)
Maybe if you started replaying the Six days that god created and stopped playing on the Seventh day, the Lord's day, you wouldn't suck so much ass at this game??? IDK, I'm of the mind of an atheistic mormon, meaning I have thirty boyfriends and I fuck them in a church while sacrificing a goat.
