Fr, me too. It's really fun but I cannot talk to my doppelganger co-worker on the 8th floor, because my own doppelganger keeps interrupting him and I die either way. Unable to progress further. My inventory also deletes entirely and I get sent right back to the start each time without my protagonist getting the cutscene where he realized he died. :')
So, i really wanted to play this game, it looks so cool and nice, but i have a problem. i can't move my viewing angle up and down. Since i don't have a function key on my keyboard, how do i solve this? but for now, i cant play it :(

But it doesn't automatically mean that it is a virus, though being careful is good. I don't think that this game has a virus in it mainly because so many people have installed it and had no complaints about it being on

About the ??? ending:
So, it was really hard getting the ??? end, but thanks to the guide and another commenter i figured that the "feed the mouth something else"(or something like that) also counts as another ending. So i did it, and surely enough, something changed in the next game-there was a fire exit door, so i obviously clicked it, and then there was this black screen with a looping sound of footsteps (on the stairs ig). I read that some commenters had the same issue so my guess is that either this is a bug that still isn't fixed (which would be kinda weird, but alright) or this IS the ending-MC finally, as it seems, having a chance to escape when in reality there's no escape, so he just runs and runs down the stairs searching for an exit. Forever. Kinda depressing, but, i mean, that's what you should expect from this game.
I'm not sure about this theory though, since theres no sticker or name to that "ending". But yeah, that was FUN.
so i finished all the endings except the no smoking one, since i already had the cigarette and thus had to "reset" via the interview.
then i did the ending immediately by just turning and selecting the sign, without having done anything to gain any items and such. probably a mistake on my part, but still.
now im just watching a black screen with the audio of footsteps over and over. i dont have any items, and the little "back" button doesnt seem to be working.
closing out of the game and restarting it respawns me back in front of the fire escape, but hitting the "help" and elevator buttons does nothing.
...i also just found that restarting multiple times seems to have also erased the "back" button as well.
im honestly lost on whats supposed to be happening. is this the actual ending? or am i doing something wrong? like was i supposed to have this while i had the items?

i can't extract files out of the ZIP :( it says that the archive is corrupted. i've already tried the rebuild funktion in the WinRAR, but it didn't help what can I do??
i fixed it!! you need to drag the downloaded file to the desktop and extract it THERE! thanks to RosaWisp that shared the solution on the Dead Plate page
Based on the "fix" (moving to the desktop folder), it sounds like the issue was the read/write permissions of your download folder or wherever else you were trying to perform the extraction.
I'm absolutely OBSESSED with this game!! A friend recommended it to me as a fan of escape rooms and it is incredible!! the levels (haha) of detail in here is insane and the art style is so tasty omfg. Thank you for making this masterpiece <3
Are there system requirements to run the game? My computer (windows) is on the older side, but when I open the game, it gets stuck on either the Warnings or Controls screen and won't load anything beyond it. I've tried re-downloading too but the same thing happened ;;
this game is amazing and im addicted to it - but I literally can't get the 14th (secret) ending. do I need to replay after beating it to have gotten all of the endings officially? tysm ^^
this game is incredible and i love it so much! so many good details and i love the dynamic between the characters. however, whenever i ask the other guy for his lighter after i've (SPOILERS) burnt down the elevator once, it glitches facing the death certificate wall and i can no longer move. i can't back out or exit or anything, not even open the esc menu. sad face :(
i had the same problem but if u just close the game and open it again you can restart it and you wont lose your items or "playthrough" as far as my experience in playing thought me
... Dear god I was actually terrified of this game. I actually had to take a moment to pause from this game since the music was unnerving and the different floors terrified me so much, not only that but goddamn some of the endings I got were BRUTAL. I'll need to gather enough strength and courage to actually do my best to finish this game :')))
i love the atmosphere of this game so much, everything was really well done -- the gameplay mechanics, the storyline & dialogue, the art and atmosphere, the strange horror elements, the many different possible endings... i could go on and on! i also thought it was a really neat touch that the endings you've gotten so far are posted on the 4th floor wall as little stickers/signs (:
i only completed a handful of endings but im sooooo amazed by everything about this game. love the style its in, big fan of the coworker and the whole corporate horror type beat. each ending is so unique and every floor gives me chills since i never know what's gonna happen once i enter! the music is so creepy bonechilling and fitting with the visuals gah. i love this game it's so awesome. hopefully i can solve more of these puzzles, they're fun to figure out!

I think windows is saying it has a virus because .exe files are very often used for trojan viruses and are then immediately considered to be dangerous

you have to get all of the endings in one playthrough to unlock it
