This was such a GREAT game!! I am so happy that this was the first game I ever played on itch.io! I can't wait to see what other games the developers create :)
I keep trying to download this game plus Elevator Hitch but each time there is no "game" file there is only "game.exe" and everything else. Just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else and how they fixed it?
I'm so happy i came across this game while browsing. this is one of the best games i have ever played, truly. This game hit me so hard in every way and im so wowed. This experience was truly eye opening and i gotta say i almost cried. To every person involved in the making of this game, you really rock. Truly wonderful experience.

Woah, I had this game downloaded for a long time but today I finally decided to play it. Confused mostly while playing but so interested in the story I had to continue, art is so beautiful and the random sounds and scary atmosphere made me feel the game . I got the bad ending first and right after got the good one. Absolutely amazing I must say. One of the best games I ever played, maybe even the best one yet!!
Wow, this game was a straight banger too and I'm really happy I got the good end on my first run. lovely message, lovely designs, lovely everything <3 eagerly awaiting a piggyback scene though.....
This game found me at the perfect time in my life, as I've gotten in a situation VERY similar to Winnie and Augustine's with an old friend of mine recently. I won't go into detail because it'd spoil the game, but if it wasn't for this game making me realize I was acting EXACTLY like Augustine was, and going down that exact train of thought, I can't say I'd be friends with them anymore- and god knows how much else I would've lost from losing a friend like that. I owe this game a lot, and I can't recommend it enough. Also, I love Winnie and Augustine's designs.
I have a mac and like they said, it wont save so I cant complete without do it all over again from beginning but I will try this at my partner's place who have a pc and give it a go. so far I like the game
i know this comment is kinda old but how did you manage to get through the chase part i've been doing it for a long time and i can't get to the end aaaaaaa
when loading into the save that starts the chase, be sure not to press any buttons until you can see your characters. Hold shift to run (obviously) and just memorize the obstacles. If you get lucky, the monster may get stuck on them when it's trying to path to you, giving you more time to run away.
Thank you for making this game. It made me realize something that even myself cannot think about it all this time. Eventually, this game will be going to become something important to me and a tradition to look forward to in every cycle of living, I guess? <3

Oh Wow. I just love this game so much! I love the mishmash of different styles of games, visual novel, rpgmaker. The character expressions and lines were FABULOUS and so so well done! Winnie is so baby I love him.

yeah this is happening to me rn too-i haven't found a way to fix it yet unfortunately
Maybe try downloading and running the game through the Itch desktop app? (https://itch.io/app) That usually fixed issues for me!
Running the game.exe files seem to load the game just fine though. Maybe it’s an old format?

Oooh... this small game actually made me cry... very well done!
The game has a bit of a lagging problem. The first chase scene is running too slowly to get through.
Other than that, GREAT story and awesome game. I somehow managed to get through the lag.
