This was the first Studio Investigrave game I played, and since then I've been obsessed with all of Rachel's games, haha. The atmosphere is incredible, the story is even better, and the characters are very cute and well-developed. I'm completely in love with all of Rachel's games now.
I may or may not know a lot ab this game cus i found a (gay) video on capcut w em and i tried to find the game and then saw a video of smokeebee playing it and then found it here and now im happy
It was so fun! I usually don't replay games after completion but I'm planning to replay because it was too fun to deliver the dishes (day 6 becomes managable after completing it once lol). Dead Plate may be a short game, but it takes a lot of space in my brain.
Also, I love the artstyle! It inspired me to draw more cartoonishly(?) that I overcame my persistent art block lol
loved this game so so much, I had a lot of fun with the gameplay!! Even though the controls were a bit hard to get used to at first and sadly the game did bug a few times, the character building and storytelling were done so well i forgot all about the little hiccups xx
definitly has a lot of replay value + will make you want to check out the creators other games too!!!!!
The game is interesting, although for me it was more funny than intense. I couldn't figure out the controls for a long time, but here's a tip for those starting out: press the up arrow and z (if the object you want to interact with is at the top).
the game seems really fun when I watch it online but for some reason, it won't let me take the peoples orders, so I can't progress. Someone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong, whenever I walk around them their "!" goes away and I can't take their order.
Arrow key movement is a bit inconvenient on my laptop, so I’d really like it if there was a Controls/Keybinds plugin for the game so I can set my own controls ;v;
I love this game so much and felt bad for Rody in ALL ENDINGS! ^-^ (P.D: was there some BL ending that didn't get released? Just asking because I heard it somewhere and want someone to confirm it, thank you!).
I swear, this game is such a masterpiece, but the controls are just terrible. I couldnt pass the tutorial, and now I cant pass the normal day. and I tried everything, pressing z, enter, space, etc. But it just wont work, if someone could tell me what to do when i get stuck ill be grateful. Just hope they fix this because its so difficult for me to enjoy the game with this

will there be a port for Linux as I would like to have a portable dead plate console I would probably port it to bazzite distro first.

Try moving closer to the visitor or going around them from the other side. Hold down the arrow key and then press z. That's what I did))

dead plate is my absolute favorite, it is indeed PEAK. I love the art style, so much, this goes for all of the other games the author has made!!!

For those stuckyou have to use the z/spacebar WHILE HOLDING the directional keys like up/down/left/right or WASD

Wait nevermind I found out how to do it. You have to be moving with one of the arrow keys while pressing Z
