I played this for the indie horror digest event I held today. Was a genuinely interesting game from the start and I really enjoyed the mechanics of it all. The artwork was nice too and it had quite a few disturbing moments. Great game! Liked it a lot!
i am starting to tweak out cus first i have very little emotion regulation and second ive done 10 new games and not once will the kicthen take my freaking order. I've gotten out and back in, listened to google. Don't even try, just freaking fix thisssss (or tell me howww) T-T (sobs) im windows btw | it only works once in the tutorial and none afterwards (like nothing even if i skip tutorial)

Hi I'm at the part where I'm supposed to cater to the guests at the dinner party, but whenever I try to pick up a different plate, it doesn't work, even after catering to the guests. Can someone please help?
idk if u already understood, but it should give u the option to place the plate back. you just go to the exact place where the plate was firstly placed and press z <33
This was a fun little horror game. I only got to cover the first ending in this video, but I enjoyed it. Would be following up with another video, when I could record the other endings. 🙂
Hi ! i don't know if it's my computer but everytime i try to pick up an order i just can't ? it's impossible to pick it up, but ordering and anything else with the "z" touch works perfectly well...
I don't know if you solved your problem. But I noticed you have to push the direction/movement button towards what you wanted to interact with, and press Z at the same time. Or at least that's what helped me when I was having the same issue.
Hey there, I don't know if it's my computer, but every game I've played by this developer, I've been unable to save. The save file options that each game has don't work for me. I've tried everything and I'm not sure what to do.
I use a Mac to play the game, and when I try to save, I hear the file system working, but the game fails to save the file. So, if I want to achieve multiple endings, I often have to replay the full game multiple times.
If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate that. Thank you!

I completely agree with mitakeji the art style and the way the characters are presented in the game is amazing please don't stop making your games as they are some of my favourites to play I do have suggestion though can you make longer games as the longer they are you could add lots of information and meanings behind them as that's what caches my eye and I think some people might also like it i also dont mind if they are short though
anyways Rachel please don't stop making your games and thank you for the ones you have made as the games make me happy to play them
heard a lot about this game and im so glad i went in this blind!! love the artstyle and the story was really nice.
the minigame itself though can be kind of...challenging? the difficulty curve(? i think thats what its called) kind of spikes up by A LOT by days 4-5, then calms down on day 6 again. i just barely complete the quota most of the time...but anyway, still a great game! storytelling, artstyle, dialogue, everything. i love how all the characters feel alive :] thank u for this game my guy
Unfortunately i can't really play the game because there is too MANY bugs in there which i get really pissed off and deleted the game.., really like the lore tho.

Only handling one plate and putting in the orders one at a time with short-fused customers did not make me look forward for the other days lol. but i digress, story wise it's incredible and I'm instantly in love with Vince's off-putting personality and Rody's silly himbo brain. Some parts genuinely gave me a scare and the part where you have to act quick after escaping made me have a heart attack (I KNEW THE SPRINT EFFECT HAD A PURPOSE. I DREADED THAT)
Annnnnnd okay okay, I barely see anyone talk about the characters here. Anyways, my take on Vince is that he actually does "care" about Rody? Maybe using the word "care" is pushing it, but he does seem to favor Rody more based on the dinner party dialogue. I think it's sweet of Vince to shield Rody from the truth about his service getting criticized in the news article (and upon further inspection in Vince's office, even his details get erased by Vince in the newspaper. ) But at the same time Vince is just sooo blunt and often rude when speaking like poor Rody hahahah. That's gotta be rough. But compared to how brutal he was towards his line cooks, Rody's treated more "better" if that even counts. Love that Vince secretly does care about Rody, and yet expresses it in the worst way possible. I hope we can get an ending where Rody and him get into an understanding and date each other (in a very toxic way).
Anyways love love loove this game sm! The art is so pretty! And the music horrifying. It made me remember why I love RPG game likes these. Thank you for creating Dead Plate <3

guys how the black veil brides can i run the game i tried everything, NOTHING worked everytime i click on the game file only EXTRACT ALL and RUN pops up. i extracted it and redownloaded maybe like 7 times atleast, and ive been doing that since sunday because my moron brain forgot laptop password and i had to reset it, anyways, i also tried copying and pasting the game into my screen but that did NOT work. Like 3 friends tried to help and couldnt. I JUST WANNA PLAY MZ FAV GAME GFGGFFRGF. Ok anyways, Happy Easter to anyone that celebrates cuz i dont.

Unfortunately I can't finish the game after the day 4 because is too frutrating between : Approximate detection, trash too far for dead plate, delay too short even with the watch, etc... It's a shame because I liked the atmosphere weirder and weirder with the mix between "restaurant game" and psychological horror.

based on your system search on google how to verify it. It' s because since its a game from a small app creator your pc cant identify the author to make sure its safe. A lot of itch.io games will require u to do that. if u're on mac lemme know and ill help you.
Okay so, first u go to the apple icon on the top left of your screen, after you go to settings, should be the 2nd voice from the top, after you click on privacy and security, the name might not be completely the same but im translating from my italian pc, then once u clicked on that you scroll completely until you find a voice that will say something like: this game was blocked from opening because of... open anyways? and you will have a button saying open anyways. you click that and then there you have it. make sure that before you do all this you have opened the file and it told u that it couldn't be opened because ur pc cant verify it. If you have any more questions let me know.

Every time I try and download the game it always tells me around a quarter into downloading that the file isn't available on the site.

are you trying to run the compressed(zipped) file or the file folder?

Does the app 'Game' have malware on it? It says it can't verify it doesn't
