This was genuinely a fun play! Although, i did feel frustrated with the waiter minigame. Only handling one plate and putting in the orders one at a time with short-fused customers did not make me look forward for the other days lol. but i digress, story wise it's incredible and I'm instantly in love with Vince's off-putting personality and Rody's silly himbo brain.  Some parts genuinely gave me a scare and the part where you have to act quick after escaping made me have a heart attack (I KNEW THE SPRINT EFFECT HAD A PURPOSE. I DREADED THAT)

Annnnnnd okay okay, I barely see anyone talk about the characters here. Anyways, my take on Vince is that he actually does "care" about Rody? Maybe using the word "care" is pushing it, but he does seem to favor Rody more based on the dinner party dialogue. I think it's sweet of Vince to shield Rody from the truth about his service getting criticized in the news article (and upon further inspection in Vince's office, even his details get erased by Vince in the newspaper. ) But at the same time Vince is just sooo blunt and often rude when speaking like poor Rody hahahah. That's gotta be rough. But compared to how brutal he was towards his line cooks, Rody's treated more "better" if that even counts. Love that Vince secretly does care about Rody, and yet expresses it in the worst way possible. I hope we can get an ending where Rody and him get into an understanding and date each other (in a very toxic way).

Anyways love love loove this game sm! The art is so pretty! And the music horrifying. It made me remember why I love RPG game likes these. Thank you for creating Dead Plate <3

I like the style of painting which is so cute, and the bad endings also made me a little down.

Hola buenas, disculpenme pero como le hicieron para pasar el dia 4 :c yo no puedo, aparece una clienta queriendo una mesa para dos y no puedo elegir la mesa. Asi que solo me queda una pareja, y con ella no alcanzo la meta :c

Unfortunately I can't finish the game after the day 4 because is too frutrating between : Approximate detection,  trash too far for dead plate, delay too short even with the watch, etc... It's a shame because I liked the atmosphere weirder and weirder with the mix between "restaurant game" and psychological horror.

just played this to completion and got all the endings and holy shit I like this so much, I love horror games so I decided to try this one and i wasn't disappointed

I suck so much at articulating what specifically I like about things but I'm such a sucker for psychologically unsettling villains who kill and eat (debatable in vince's case but still) people

I love a good horror and everything I've seen is really interesting! I'm a big fan of the art style and color palette too.
But I'm really sad to say that some bugs in the game make it unplayable for me, which is why the game doesn't let me progress past day 6.
E.g. Customer not standing in front of register and not being able to make them pay the bill to customers leaving SUPER early, even if I play with my shift key hijacked.

The exact positioning to give plates to customers or to clean up plates also annoys me a little.

This is one of the first few games I’ve played from itch.io, and it really set the standard for me. It’s a perfect blend of storytelling, horror, and grotesque elements. The animation is great, the gameplay is neat, and I absolutely loved the escape game. The storyline truly popped off! Kudos to the team!

Dead Plate es un buen juego después de mucho tiempo por fin pude conseguir un dispositivo para poderlo jugarlo.

Pero la verdad se que no me aparecen las opciones de cambio de idioma si tengo entendido se puede cambiar el idioma.

Pero aún así me lo pase bien jugandolo pero me gustaría que más adelante pudieran sacar una versión para móviles Android para aquellos que no posen los dispositivos requerido y que pueden jugar esté juego.

i played this when it first came out, but i wanted to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DYNAMICS HERE, like the gaming dynamics were such a step over from Elevator Hitch (I love that game sm)
