After blood sweat and tears I finally finished the game, when i saw there was a day 7 I was about to quit no joke, I don't understand why day 6 was so hard.
i keep experiencing a glitch where the audio and actions continue but the video aspect is completely frozen, ie during dialogue parts when clicking z i hear the talking sound but everything else is frozen help! i am on windows 11
This was such a ride. I've been dying to get the phone call for days, I'm so glad I was stubborn enough to keep playing even when my sister got annoyed enough and got fussy, lmao. Love the art style so much.
I love the game but legit it is not letting me save, whenever I save and come back it's gone and the only option is to restart. The save files are all empty despite me using like 10 lmao
Hello! Im having trouble understanding the inventory, how does it work? Its always empty when i open it but every time a new shift is about to start it says i have stuff in it.
The game is really good, but there are problems with the controls. when you approach the marker or the window to take food, it doesn’t work the first time. the z and other keys simply do not work, and because of this, visitors leave. But other than that the game is perfect
Hello ! I played the game and i absolutely loved it and i saw that there isn't any french translations... I'm french and my english isn't perfect but it isn't bad either, and if you wanted help to translate the game, i'm available (for free of course) ! This game is absolutely fire, and i know a french youtuber who would love to play it, but he does'nt speak english very great, but if there was a french translation, maybe he could see it ! I would be so happy to show him how good this game is !
I liked Dead Plate. This is the first game I've encountered with food, love, and cannibalism — all of which I immensely take joy in seeing in media. Although slightly frustrating at times, I also enjoyed playing Rody in the game. More than a means of interaction, I think it adds more depth to its main character that way. You have Rody who is working as a waiter in a bistro with no other people to help him out, and he is doing all this work for a grumpy boss (sorry Vince, I do love you) and his beautiful and thoughtful ex-girlfriend, Manon (please get with me).
I also enjoyed analyzing the bits of information we would get along the way and keeping them in my head. They are so interesting and precious to me. Well, in general, Dead Plate is just that to me given that it is the first game I have completed all the way through.
If there was anything else I would like from it, probably be an extension. I would have liked to learn more about Vincent, Rody, and (especially) Manon, but then again that would just be a nice addition. Overall, Dead Plate is an unforgettable and quite an intimate experience for me.
all right, I figured it out. It turns out it's my fault lmao. You have to tap the direction of what you're trying to take and tap Z at the same time. They work perfectly fine and I'm having a great time!
Couldn't play properly because the game doesn't respond to pressing the Z button. I have to press it many times to make something happen. But I really like the story and the characters
The controls are really wonky and I've encountered a few game breaking bugs along the way (like disappearing sprites).
The way through which you get the phone call is very organic, I like that the game rewards you for snooping around. The story is good, I like that the narrative is self-contained and easy to follow, but it’s rather one-note and predictable. It really left me with more questions than I’d started with, especially about everything pertaining to Vince.
I’ve considered playing it again and finding all of the easter eggs, connecting the dots and whatnot, but unless there’s some secret fifth ‘true’ ending, it doesn’t seem worth the effort.

Hello! Just wanted to let the developer know that you can deadlock yourself near the bin in the ending. Anyways, the game is incredible ^^

do you need help?
So question, will looking out the window ever have a meaning, or is it just a nice little thing you can do
at some point you can see someone watching you from a window (probably Vincent)
I want to inquire about your game's font for the text boxes.
the Z button reacts poorly especially when I'm trying to pick up the dishes and place the orders, resulting in me losing all the customers...

I had the same issue lmao!!😭😭
Im trying this but it wont let me put the orders in :(

Loved it, I finished all four endings and enjoyed them!
