No it doesn't, in fact, at my job I've been stealing entire days worth of cash and blaming the homeless guy outside the store. Once I pay him to pretend to steal from the register, I'll be off Scott free, anyway to get back to your question, as a worker working for a business which probably isn't paying you enough + wage theft, I'd say it wouldn't affect anything
The art style and story line of this game was absolutely amazing. I loved all of the interactions between Rody and Vince. I wish we could've seen more of them together. While I really enjoyed plot, the game play of this was tedious. I don't think you could get all the endings without the guide with it being such a fast paced game. The controls were difficult to use but overall, a solid game. Ending 3 was my favorite.
love the game, hated it at first because I suck at managing the customers, i just wished there are more quicker way on skipping the shift to discover other endisngs
I had the same thought. Maybe the developers could add an interactable object available during repeat playthroughs that lets you skip the workshift "scene", or that sets money to quota and customers' patience to 0.
Cause the shifts can get quite lengthy after Day 4.
I have no idea how hard that might be to program though.
(edit: I realized I may have missed the point of your comment. The reason I suggested having an object to interact with to skip the shift is so that players could do any conversations/actions they need to do before skipping the shift.)
Although, actually, now that I think about it, this is an RPGMaker game where having a Skip function is not standard, unlike VNs.
I WISH, though, that it was normal for RPGMaker games to have a Skip function or at least a "Hold this button to Skip Text" function.
It seems to be the accepted standard for RPGMaker games that you can make the player go through a game multiple times doing different actions to get multiple endings, regardless of how long the game is. I only find it really bad when:
a. it would take more than 1 hour or so to replay for the other endings
and b. the different endings are normal end that resolves nothing vs true ending that gives you the conclusion, so they're not just "optional" to get
I feel like if a game developer expects you to replay a game multiple times, then they should make it easier. Cause players definitely WANT to experience a game themselves but if replaying a game for the true ending would take like over an hour of pointless repeating, then it becomes more and more "attractive" of an option to just watch someone else get it on YouTube. Which I think is bad for all parties (players don't get the personalized experience of playing the game themselves, developers' game is enjoyed less) except for the YouTubers.
(I mean ok, in most games it isn't that bad, but in some games I feel like developers never thought about the player experience in terms of this aspect.)
To get back on the topic of Dead Plate, it technically shouldn't take that long to go through this game a 2nd time, and technically a skip function would not be that necessary for an average player. I think I just think for ME it would have made a huge difference to be able to skip the shift, because I needed to take at least 3 hours to get the other endings due to bugs in the shift and technical issues.
Hello, so I've followed the instructions for Mac. I dragged the 'game' file into the applications folder and I've cmd clicked the file and it isn't booting. but the file appears on my dock. what do I do?
okay so i don't want to sound rude or anything but can you also do one for a Chromebook or android please! i really want to play this game so bad and love how it looks, please make it happen if not thats fine
okay, not only is this an amazing, well written game, but it can also run on a computer that can barely even run google. i recently downloaded this on a computer from around 2006, the only upgrade it has had since then was another gigabyte of ram (not even a thermal paste change), the specs on the computer are 2 gigabytes of ddr ram (the first gosh darn ram ever), an nvidia geforce 6200, and an amd athlon 64 3800+, all running on windows 7, and not only did the game actually be able to run on a pc this terrible, it ran WELL, like i could actually play the game and not have the whole computer explode, thank you for creating this game, potato pc gamers finally have something fun to play (i mean this in the absolute best way possible, this game is amazing)
Maybe if you started replaying the Six days that god created and stopped playing on the Seventh day, the Lord's day, you wouldn't suck so much ass at this game??? IDK, I'm of the mind of an atheistic mormon, meaning I have thirty boyfriends and I fuck them in a church while sacrificing a goat.
im loving this so much WHATTT its genuinely one of my favorite games eeee :3 this and Elevator Hitch are the ones im playing rn, tho Elevator Hitch is taking a bit to load….. I LOVE THIS SM SO FAR THO UAAHHKJGJHGL<HJHLLYV
pero como lo guardo siempre me quedo en la parte en la que el pelinaranja llama a la novia pero no le contesta de ahi aparecen los creditos entonces me devuelve al inicio pero nose como guardarlo
The moment i played this game, and got all endings. i couldnt stop shipping rody and vincent, i love the fanon of it and the canon too. the story itself was amazing, i'd love it even more if there will be more endings !!!1!!!1!
really loved this RRRRGH!!!! only negative I really had was the interraction hitboxes as others have said-- but the story made getting through the work day worth it!!!!
THE GAME IS VERY COOL and I loved it! I love stories like this and now I’m very curious, will there be DLC? It would just be really cool to see all this from Manon's point of view
Managed to run it on Linux via Steam's "Add a non-steam game to library" feature + proton. I can happily say I only encountered the known bugs (all of em) , which stopped feeling as annoying by like day 4.
Also did fanart cause boy is the story gutwrenching
i really want to fully like this game, and i did get a lot of enjoyment out of it, but you really need to patch only being able to interact with a table from a certain angle. it's incredibly annoying losing a customer just because i'm not standing at the exact correct position to give them something </3
Love the game, the art is amazing, and the story is great. The main problem I've had with it is it being hard to click on objects. and I've also not been able to finish Day 6, but I'll finish it one of these days.

TOO MUCH BUG
Alguien sabe lo que toca que hacer para conseguir el final en el que rody rompe la cuerda?
Compre fósforos en la tienda y llévelos al trabajo
GRACIASS
Hello! I have question.... Does stealing money from the cash register affect anything or not? Besides, do we have more money?
wait, we can steal money from the register?
Yes :D In the end 5 day. And it seems strange to me that Vincent ignores such an outburst. We steal his money, but he doesn't care
ooh thats so cool! Thanks im gna go try it ^^

TWEAKING WITH HOW MUCH I ADORE THIS GAME
awsome
what I did is to drag the game icon to the screen, like out of files to the screen and open it again and again until it worked (MAC)
Probably stop watching porn without a VPN
the game crashes when i try to open? I'm on MacOS
Same problem here! :( edit: nevemind, I downloaded it again and it started for some reason :D
i'll try doing that! edit its still crashing :(
did you move it into your applications folder?
how do i do that... edit i did it lets see if it works lol
edit 2 it still quits unexpectedly
in that case I have no idea :/ maybe check if there's a system update or just try to restart your Mac?
i can't equip anything lol what am i supposed to do?
edit: nvm for some reason i just never realized the magazine was there lol

this game is SOOO GOODDD but its really testing my patience :') still love it though!!
Overall the game is nice, they should see a couple therapist though.

just a way to optionally skip a day shift will be nice, after a player finishes the entire first game playthrough though
Yes, exactly

UPDATE: the file isn't opening because apparently it's not responding
did you ever fix this btw?
literally a work of art, rody is so babygirl
I kinda ship them together tho 😂
Bitch if "effeminate twinks blushing subtly at the others presence" was a ship, they'd be the entire naval fleet of USA, Russia, UK, and China
am i the only who's having a hardtime interacting with stuff?
Me too I cant interact with stuff
Infinite appetizers to throw out, the customers lose patience SO fast Day 2
for some reason I cant interact when I press z

And other than that, it's a great game.
Amazing game.. butt..
this keeps happening, even when I restart the day and go again
Yeah that's just the void, ignore it, for if you don't, then you will become one with it. This isn't a joke, this is a warning
