When I try to download this on my MacBook it tells me the game file can't be opened because "my profile is from a newer version of NW.js" - anybody know how to fix this? I really want to play this omg ;-;
Struggling with getting Vincent to call me! I've been through lots of guides on how to get it to happen but he just isn't calling me. Any help?? Thanks

3. After talking to Vince, continue working, walk back into the kitchen at a specific minute mark (after 2:30 PM)
4. After the cutscene, go talk to Vince at the back door (if you can I cant remember or not)
5. On day five, talk with Vince again and ask "What's your favorite food?" Then when it's after-hours, go to Vince's office and interact with the trash can
6. After your shift and when you go home, I THINK you should receive a phonecall from Vincent
Z is to interact with things, but sometimes you will have to click the arrow keys in the direction of the thing you want to interact with and then click z, like with collecting dishes and giving the orders in.
There are some things you can click though, like when you interact with the catalogue on Rody's table, you can click to read through it and buy stuff.

Es un juego genial, no sé si solo es en la versión de español que pasa pero, en el turno 4 cuando tengo que llevar a otra mesa a los segundos clientes que llegan, no me aparece la opción para dejarlos en la mesa entonces no logro completar la cuota, por ende, pierdo el turno porque se van, llevo un tiempo intentando e incluso inicié una nueva partida desde el tutorial para ver si mejoraba, pero sigue igual, creo que podría ser un bug; necesito ayuda, no quiero abandonar la historia así :(
Es un fantástico juego de rol del género de terror que merece su propia serie. Jugué este juego gracias a un amigo que me sugirió jugarlo en su computadora.

When you download the zip file, you need to extract the zip file into a folder- and when you open the folder, drag the "game" file (only the game file not the entire folder) out from that folder and into your applications folder. Once you get the game file in the applications folder, try to open the game file there- if it doesn't open continue clicking until it does and it'll eventually let it run. If you did this the right way then your game'll be able to save and let the game run/progress normally! Try redownloading and follow those steps again? Hope this was helpful!! After getting this pop up, go to system settings -> privacy and security. In the security part, on the bottom, you will see the app. Click "open anyway". This applied to pretty munch every game I downloaded from itch.io on mac and they normally work fine after that. Unfortunately, even after doing so, the game doesn't seem to work on mac currently, based on my experience and other comments here :( Even if I manage to open the game, nothing happens for me.

Hii, I've come across a small issue when trying to play the game: After the warning screen fades off and I'm about to select whether I do the tutorial, skip it, or sleep in, this error screen pops up and I can't proceed further!
LOVE how the concept changes from a simple work simulator game into one with possible complex storytelling that can be provided. So interesting to see how the sprint function wasn't just to respond to customers quicker, but to provide a sense of being able to escape later on.
I played Dead Plate very recently & it was one of the best games I've played in a while & decided to make an abridged video on it. If i missed any important things from the game I'm sorry. I hope i did the game justice, thank you
Hey! So, I'm playing the tutorial and even though I've taken both of their orders, the game won't let me place the orders in the window. I've watched other videos, and I know I'm going to the right spot + pressing Z. Is this a known bug or am I missing something? lol
Edit: you have to press the gold button. it seems so obvious in retrospect 😭

i think this is how -

Does anyone know the controls for the game? I love this game but the controls trip me up and I having them in writing would help!
You use the arrow keys to walk.

It might be the .exe one. Saw another comment that said that the exe.exe is the .exe one and the .exe is actually just the game

i tried it. But my Z key wasn't working in the game and the customers kept disappearing every time i exit the kitchen.
and btw how long do you have to wait for when Vincent calls on the night of day 6? im trying to get that ending.

The Mac build doesn't work, you should probably rebuild it and then re upload it again. But the windows version works good 😄
