The game can be clunky at times and the controls took some time to get used to, but I enjoyed this game! I highly recommend playing it without watching any gameplay beforehand! The game isn't TERRIFYING but it can be jarring and leave you feeling anxious or cold.
Honestly..! This game is great! It takes some time to get used to the controls though because I mainly play games with the WASD mechanic but its great. I've played it for a while but only got the steak ending... I'll watch a few tutorials and see where it leads me :D

I was crying and suffering from loading errors, but I have solved the problem and share it with you.
This loading error is caused by the ZIP file of this game being compressed in MAC and decompressed in Windows, which incorrectly converts the file name between Shift-JIS and UTF-8, which is resolved when decompressed in UTF-8.
First download the Windows version of this game from the download page here.
Then you will get the ZIP file of this game. Do not unzip it at this point yet.
Next, install a free decompression tool from the Internet that can decompress the ZIP file in UTF-8.
(7Zip or something like that might be famous? I used CubeIce).
Note that the decompression tool that comes with Windows (such as Lhaplus) will decompress the file in Shift-JIF, so the file name will be changed. This is the cause of this loading error.
Use the decompression tool that you installed that can decompress in UTF-8 to decompress the ZIP file of this game.
Now the game will start normally because the file name can be converted correctly. (It is normal if the first cannibalism alert proceeds without clicking)

This is so good. Seriously. I played in one long sitting today, mostly with the company of a friend. I have theories and ideas that came to mind while I was playing that I can't wait to share with him when he wakes up since his ass went to bed before we could finish together. There's so much to talk about in the environmental storytelling and what it says about Vincent. I actually think you learn more about Vincent while playing than you do Rody, even though Rody is the POV. That somehow makes it even cooler.
Played on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. Installed on HDD that isn't my main drive and ran it with no problems. No errors, bugs, or missing files as some users have mentioned having.
I have very little negative to note but for QOL purposes:
Audio - Can't change the audio volume from the main menu and since I play on Mac without routing all my sounds through a mixer it ended up blasting my ears when I first opened it. Had to get through the tutorial to lower volume. The volume setting also is not universal to the game itself, it seems? You have to save a file in which you change the volume first for it to stick? I'm not 100% sure.
Hit-boxes on serving objects. - I've seen comments from other users mentioning that they think the tables or cleaning aren't working when they try to serve guests at the restaurant. I noticed this with one of the two-top tables and how you had to clean it from its lower side, and how specific your location relative to guests has to be to interact with them.
When you take an order while holding a plate, if the plate matches that order type, it automatically gives the plate to the guest. There isn't a note of this, you kinda just find out by accident.
Controls are a little awkward. This might be because of my setup and the size of my keyboard. I don't hold that against the game itself. It's short enough and straightforward enough that one shouldn't have to change their keybindings.
Really, really loved this. So much. I got a very satisfying and complete experience that also left me wanting more.

I had the same problem they had and i even followed the guide without messing up but it still didnt show up. Ive been waiting an actual hour now for it to come. I dont know if i was supposed to chat with the Vinc about anything else on either of the days ypur meant to talk to him but i did since there wasnt really a way to know if i could or not.

The game is really good! Main issue is that sometimes the interact key just...wont? I'll be pressing it 20 times, right up against the thing I need, and it just WONT let me grab it.

literally cannot get past day 1 - the two first customers that come in leave immediately, cannot take orders fast enough for them. its awful

i had a troblem thorough the game and the tutorial where i wasnt able to pick up the dishes and it kept making me unable to play it
Hey. You need to point rody's head at the plate (cover the plate), and then press and hold the up arrow and interact with z!

Right-click on the .app and choose “open” from the menu. MacOS does this for applications that aren’t from the App Store.
