I feel like this is one of the most impressively flawless examples of the quality and possible execution of an Itch.io game, and frankly gaming in general. ^^
Firstly the artstyle, in addition to having a very pleasing and dynamic style fitting the theme, is very nice to see in such a unique diversity. Seeing multiple stills/sprites for each of the characters in the multitude they appear is incredibly refreshing to see. They also really add a lot of quality both in terms of overall effort that shows as well as just simple fun for the player to view/experience.
The art's impressiveness aside, I really enjoyed how the story was told and presented throughout. I've always gotten the impression that the shorter a game is, the harder it is to convey certain depths to a story or the lore a game has. But when a game has the amazing ability to do this cohesively and not in a way that feels forced or contrived, like this game, it's absolutely astonishing to see! Also this might just be up to each individual player's preference, but I really like how complex the characters were. And I don't mean complex as in they're confusing or too wacky from the simple one-dimensional strand of character building, they all seem to have the perfect blend of understanding and unpredictability. This is really great as it blends the writing perfectly into the kind of story that's being told!
I don't mean to write like a 10 page essay on why I enjoyed this game as much as I have, although I certainly could. I just really wanted to try and elaborate just how amazing of a game and project this is, and I'm very happy it's gotten all of the attention it has!
I'm already planning to experience more games by the Investigrave and I'm very excited for any potential future projects or ideas that may come to fruition! :D

I was so excited to play this game but for some reason there is an error when I get past the controls where it will not let me play but if I could play the game I would because it is amazing.
Heyy, i had the same problem, until i realized that the controls weren't "w, s, d , a", so they won't work, you have to play with the arrows on the right side of the keyboard 😓 Hope it helps!!
made an account specifically to say this, i adore the concept of the game, but the tutorial is barely a tutorial. i didnt even know i could RUN until i looked up stuff about day 6 because it felt damn near impossible. anyway, i had to stop playing anyway because the controls are incredibly bogus (shift to run but i have to press z to do things?? also, i have to get to very specific spots to get people to tables and get their orders????? also also having to press the arrow keys while also pressing z AT THE SAME TIME???) it was really REALLY hard to play this and even to understand how to play. i adore everything else about this game, the story seems exceptional n all, but i just cant get past all this. im just gonna watch someone else play it i guess.

This game was really hard at first because I couldn't get used to the controls, but overall I've had a really great time. I was so focused on actually getting enough money for the day so I got ending 1 unintentionally. I probably took a long time to finish the game and unlock all of the endings because I, for some odd reason, was too lazy to search up a dang tutorial, so that's that. Overall, very fun game to play, I actually enjoy the pressure when serving the customers on days 5 and onwards since I got used to it haha. The plot is so crazy and insane, but that's what makes it so good too. My thoughts fr went in this exact order when playing through the story: "they should kiss", "what the heck", "HOLY SHET??"
Anyways, enough yapping. The characters are oh so loveable (even vincent, for some messed up yet endearing reason), and the gameplay is so fun! Thanks for creating this wonderful masterpiece, am so grateful that I was blessed with the ability to enjoy this game to the fullest extent! I really look forward to your upcoming games, I'll definitely play them :)
BTW, pLEASE restock on the plushies, I beg of you!
I really wish there wasn't a save option at the end of night 7 that automatically hovered on my most recent save :( I'm sure endings 3 and 4 are great but I do not have the patience to replay this game a third time.
if you guys are having trouble taking in orders try pressing z and the up arrow button at the same time its also the same as giving to orders to the customers too
