I've tried downloading it and playing it a lot of times, but whenever i get to the first playable scene, it doesnt let me interact with anything :( idk what to do anymore, can anyone help? any suggestions

I loved the game and the artistic style so much. The fact that this has been made for a jam is incredible because the message about the toxic work culture is so deep. Anyways, I wish there was an option to start a new run even when you already started one because I don´t want to go throught the whole game again just to get to see a death I missed. But that putting that aside, this game is simply wonderful

For those who don't understand how to move the camera: when you are in the elevator, exit the "point and click" mode (your screen will look like you are looking down the elevator) and click on the arrows. I rly love this game, its my first ig's game what i completed. protag lover number one/jokejokejoke!!!

while I’m willing to put in the effort to play this on my desktop…anyone else play this on the steam deck? I had very little issue playing Dead Plate on the deck but this game really seems to hate being on the deck. Any tips appreciated :O
after asking around, I found that using a compatibility tool called rpgmakermlinux-cicpoffs instead of proton made the game run much better on the steam deck!
my pc isnt letting me look up or down :( whenever i try, pushing fn+ the up or down button, it just turns my volume up and down, any way to get around this or use different buttons?
I love this game so much!! It was so fun to play and didnt make me want to die like most other puzzle-y games do and was absolutely worth a solid 3 hours of my life. the art is gorgeous, i love the characters, i love the story and all of the endings, there's only one small problem in the whole game from what i've seen. I am 100% sure without a doubt ive gotten every single ending (I even tried seeing if you had to get every ending in one playthrough, didnt work) but i cant get ending 14? Ive gone through the wiki, a bunch of comments, a few other guides, and i cannot figure out what i've done wrong lol. the only thing i can think of is that sometimes my mouse glitches and closes the game, but i dont know if that could have affected it?? Either way, thats just a little hiccup and i just looked up a video of the ending so i knew what it was lol.
SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT
i dont know if you can spoiler text on this?? Anyway, one of the things i love is the little bits of backstory in floor 4, i did miss the Parents ending at first because i found the sleeping pill pretty quickly, but i love the little bits of dialogue from the cross and the lamp, and i thought the drawing under the bed was interesting. It was nice seeing a bit of protag's backstory. I think my favorite floor was 8, it was spooky seeing the duplicates of protag and coworker and i had fun trying to get all the different dialogue options with them, it did crush me a bit to have to trick them, especially with them pounding on the door and screaming. Another thing that desttroyed me a little was having to kill the mouse the first time, so i was super happy to see i didnt have to do it again and being able to spare the mouse. Overall protag is a super interesting character, it was so fun seeing the story play out.
I think making something of this quality, both in terms of technicalities as well as from an artistic and stylistic perspective is an absolutely incredible show of skill and passion. Doing something like that on a consistent and phenomenal level is essentially nothing short of absolutely incredible.
The only other title I've experienced by this studio that I can use to compare is Dead Plate. It's honestly infuriating that I don't have the capability to properly describe just how awe-inspiring this studio is. The characters, along with their shared unique designs, as well as the background design, worldbuilding, pacing, mechanics, and themes that're led by the writing makes this game one of the best I have ever personally experienced.
I've always thought the "Escape Room Genre" was one that could be complex to tackle, primarily due to the capability for both sides of the quality scale. But this is shining proof of just how phenomenal these games can be.
It was an absolute joy to both play, but also to record this absolute piece of art, and I'm more than excited to not only try the other projects, but also to look forward to future projects. Once again, absolutely incredible! ^^
uhhh the part where it says like u open ur inventory im confused bc i chose 'inventory', there was nothing in it so i tried every button on my keyboard but it was exiting the inventory
i hope you kept playing after this happened lol. as you go to the other floors, you will be able to obtain items which can be used on other floors. if you feel confused on what to do next, you can read the official guide!
what do you have to do if some fire exit door appears instead of the elevator doors? because when i close the game and then i open it again its still in there
just played this game on stream today!! this was such a blast to play, and i adore the visuals so much.. the storytelling is incredible and all the little hidden meanings and whatnot were super cool to discover!! loved it a lot and will definitely be playing more of your games soon <33
I found this game to be so interesting because the MC is aware of what is going on around him especially when he realizes that even though they die they just come back. I love how there's multiple endings to the game too.
being trapped inside of an elevator with an obnoxious guy right before a job interview in a never ending hell scape sounds like my worst nightmare but this game makes the idea sound fun

use your mouse! sometimes it helps clicking on the screen to help it move <3
also, you might want to use the arrow keys to switch the cameras if you need it

the coworker will give you random names via a dialogue choice, but there isn’t a like “canon” name for either character.
