Yo! This might be just on my Mac however, I’ve seen obvious differences between whenever I play compared to a walkthrough. Whenever I die, I start at the very beginning whilst the walkthroughs I see show them start off from where they died in which the MC breaks the 4th wall and talks about how they thought they died. This also means getting the scissors is quite literally impossible because no matter how many times I die, I never get the option the ‘push them further’. This might just be me and if so, could someone please help me understand what I’m doing wrong :(

How were you able to get the game application to work? I've tried everything and no matter what, the app has the little white dot beneath it to indicate its on but nothing actually pops up.
After you extract the zip code drag your game into a custom folder and then put the game file into applications. This can be done by clicking on the ‘Go’ at the top left corner on ur Mac. Hopes this helps!

Hello!!^^ I've tried to download the game, but unlike in other studio investigate's games, I haven't got the "Game" file. Same goes with Cold Front. I've seen in comments that some people open the game by opening "Game.exe", but when I've tried, it had no result to both games. It shows that something is loading but then nothing happens. Maybe someone knows how to deal with it? I'm honestly bad in computers and working with files, so I would very apriciate some help:(( Thank you!!

I don't know if anyone had this problem too, but no matter how many times I download the game I don't have "game.exe" file like it was on other games. (Im on windows) All I can see is just "game.exe.exe" which, indeed does work but horibbly. None of the pictures will show up, + the audio just straight up dissapears, there's only a black screen with text for the whole game (+ it takes YEAAARS to load anything?? Its barely playable.) I have the other games too, the same happened with cold front but the rest does have "game.exe" and it works just fine. I even tried to download it on my phone to maybe send it over to my pc later, but the "game.exe" is still gone. My friend tried too, the same effect. I'd appreciate any help I can get, I love both of these games and I would love to get the full experience by playing them myself ;)
I haven't faced this issue but I'm going to assume that maybe it has to do with your computer? It could be that for some reason your Windows Defender considers it a false positive and deletes it from the folder. I suggest adding it as an excluded software from having it checked. I do believe that your computer is the cause.
This game, despite being a small game, has been genuinely a fantastic and one of the best itch.io games I ever tried. The amount of endings and how each and every was unique was honestly my favorite aspect as it was fun discovering all endings with the amount of it. The OST's style was a great addition as well. I may have encountered a bug or two but nothing a restart won't fix. Keep it up!

Anyway I love everything about this. The art (aooouuuugggghhh the art), the audio, the writing (the use of interruptions and text size, the unique voice of each character and the humor, aaaaa), the puzzles (for once I'm not frustrated! It's fun and I'm not angry!), the endings to have fun collecting... exactly my kind of game. Love it. 10/10
I was shocked I liked this game so much. I am not a fan of most escape room like games, as a lot of the answers felt to out there / easier for the player to look up a guide. Elevator Hitch never felt like such, as I never needed to pull up a guide, minus me having to check how to spin my camera around (so just the controls).I also like how the game lets you keep your items, making dying not feel like a punishment but a way to obtain more info.
Really only complaint is I wished there was more to the co-worker character personality wise and wish he could shove him into the hole in floor 2 as he is a living thing. Minus those nitpicks, I heavily enjoyed this game!!
I think you meant to comment this on dead plate, not elevator hitch. either way, press z and hold on the directional pad of your keyboard the direction the item is to grab it.

So, we've gotten the phone number but it won't let us type it in? We closed out the application and reopened it and it still will not allow us to type in the number.What am I supposed to do? Have I done something wrong?
Update: I had to press the 2 button to go down from 9 with the numbers on the side keypad area thing
For whatever reason the game just randomly freezes for me and then fucks with the save. Amazing game otherwise, just a shame I couldn't play it too much, only got a few endings

UPD: I know you wanted to makes endings more subtle , but some of them seemed too vague. Example: 'parents'. Maybe you should add some sound effects in each ending to make them more horrifying and impactful/ You can reverb sounds or layer one onto another to make something unique. Maybe you should use more sound alltogether to convey specific atmosphere.
Hey, I tried playing this game on the Mac, and I did manage to get into the game, but it just wouldn’t save. It just restarted me back at the beginning with no progress saved. This is a bit of a problem because, as I’ve seen with some online clips, you need to die at some points to continue the game, and I can’t do that without ending up back at the beginning. Any help?

Yes... it happened to me also. Only the "Game.Exe" appeared from the Zip file and clicked on it and it worked just fine. (So it shouldn't be a problem. (/>o</) Don't question it if it works)

I LOVED IT!!!!!!! best game ever :D i LOVED the creativity when it came to the floors; and i liked the 3D parts. and the artstyle is amazing! i admit, i had to use the guide at some parts, but overall: 10/10! also very attractive men

Not sure if you're playing the game without sound but it's basically MC (Presumably) running down the stairs endlessly.

If you haven´t, you need to talk to the co-worker and choose ¨Push them further¨

For some reason I cant move my camera when I press Fn + arrow keys? Does anyone know how to fix it or if I'm doing something wrong?
You can only move the camera on one screen, the one right after you press to go to a new floor. Then you can look around the elevator

This game would be more fun if:
1) skip dialogue
2) if you accidently get a choice option, you can quit to not make a choice
3) i there wasn't bugs with leaving 'sticker wall'
4) if there was another passcode quest taht doesen't involve 'hole'
5) if there were more dialogue options with your colleuge, just simple talk? woud make game a little bit more replayable
6) if there were number of endings and how many you've already got or just a progress meter in percents
7) last but not least the last ending erases all the progress, it's inconvinient if you want to get all endings

there is no actual ''15th'' ending, ending 3 has two versions (3A and 3B) so that's why it says there are 15 endings in the game
